Unfortunately, there is no safe way for a stove system to shut off the gas supply should it need to cut the power to the cooker.
This means that it would cause an alternative problem in a fire prevention situation.
Therefore, the Firechief® Kitchen Stove Guard is not suitable for gas hobs and can only be used on electric hobs.
